Clinton, MO – (July 27, 2026) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce that Dr. Michael Wood has joined its Internal Medicine team.
Dr. Wood earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Smith, AR, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. He has published numerous articles on diabetes management, nutrition therapy and endocrinology in respected medical journals. Dr. Wood has also presented at national and international conferences and received top honors for his research.
At GVMH, Dr. Wood will provide comprehensive internal medicine services for adult patients, including preventive care, chronic disease management and treatment of acute illnesses.
