Clinton, MO. – (Nov. 3, 2025) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Lauritsen as Director of Finance.
In this role, Lauritsen will oversee general accounting functions, including ledger reporting, accounts payable, payroll and fixed asset accounting. He will also play an active role in revenue cycle management, budgeting, financial reporting, audits and treasury administration. His expertise in compliance with Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) and healthcare regulations will help ensure sound financial stewardship.
Lauritsen joins GVMH from Osawatomie State Hospital in Osawatomie, KS, where he served as Chief Financial Officer.
He earned a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
