Clinton, MO. – (Aug. 14, 2025) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is proud to recognize Whitney McEwan as its August Employee of the Month.
McEwan joined GVMH in 2021 as a Registered Nurse in the Infusion Center and has been a valued member of the team ever since. Her dedication, compassion and unwavering commitment to patients and peers have made her a trusted caregiver and a respected colleague.
Before coming to GVMH, McEwan commuted more than 50 minutes each way to serve residents at a nursing facility, driven by her passion for delivering genuine, compassionate care. Her decision to join GVMH has been a tremendous gain for the organization and the patients she serves. Since her first day, she has been recognized time and again by patients and providers, often being requested by name.
McEwan’s colleagues consistently witness her going above and beyond. She is always engaged in delivering care, following up on treatment plans, communicating with providers and offering support to her teammates. Her natural compassion and empathy are evident in everything she does.
Patients frequently express their gratitude for McEwan’s kindness and dedication. She embodies the spirit of GVMH’s mission and vision, treating each patient like a friend. Her wholehearted commitment to excellence helps make her specialty clinics a true success.
As Employee of the Month, McEwan received a special GVMH gift, and her name will be permanently displayed on a commemorative plaque at the main campus. She is also one of 12 finalists for the 2025-2026 Employee of the Year award.
