Project Connect to Offer Free Health Services, Support and Resources September 18

Clinton, MO. – (July 2, 2026) – Community members can access free health services, support programs and essential resources at Project Connect, a one-day event taking place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, September 18, at the Benson Convention Center, 1008 E. Sedalia Ave., Clinton.

Project Connect is hosted through a collaborative partnership between CHART, Compass Health Network, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare and The Pediatric Place Family First Initiative, with support from ToRCHLink funding.

More than 50 organizations and agencies will be available to help connect individuals and families with services and resources in one convenient location.

Free services will include:

  • Dental screenings and extractions
  • Food stamp assistance
  • Haircuts
  • Health and mental health screenings
  • Legal aid
  • Medicaid enrollment and renewals
  • Substance use disorder resources
  • Unemployment services
  • Veteran’s services
  • Workforce development resources
  • And much more

No insurance, appointments or fees are required. A free lunch will be provided from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Free transportation is available for those needing assistance getting to the event. Please call at least 48 hours in advance to schedule transportation.
