Clinton, Mo. – (September 8, 2026) – Individuals and families who need help accessing healthcare, assistance programs or community resources are encouraged to attend Project Connect on Friday, September 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Benson Convention Center in Clinton. The free event will bring together numerous organizations and agencies offering services, support and resources in one convenient location.
Project Connect is open to anyone in west-central Missouri and no insurance, appointments or referrals are required. All services are provided at no cost.
Attendees will have access to a wide variety of services, including dental screenings and extractions, health and mental health screenings, Medicaid enrollment and renewal assistance, food stamp assistance, legal aid, haircuts, veteran services, workforce development resources, unemployment services and substance use disorder resources.
“Project Connect is designed to remove barriers and connect people with the services they need,” said Tara Dull, Chief Compliance Officer/Executive Director of Compliance at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare. “Whether someone is looking for healthcare resources, assistance programs, employment support or help navigating available services, this event provides an opportunity to connect with organizations that can make a difference.”
A complimentary lunch will be provided from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for event participants. Free transportation is also available for individuals who need assistance getting to the event. Transportation must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance by calling 660.890.8697 for transportation within Clinton city limits or 417.283.7991 for transportation from Benton and St. Clair counties.
