Taylor Elwell

Executive Director of Clinic Services

Taylor Elwell is a dedicated healthcare leader with more than a decade of experience at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH). As the Executive Director of Clinic Services, he leads strategic growth, operational management and financial performance for services within the Outpatient Treatment Center, including specialty outpatient clinics and wound care. Additionally, he oversees all clinical services at the physician clinics in Clinton, located at the Medical Plaza and East Campus, as well as those at our Osceola, Warsaw and Windsor Clinics.

His role includes overseeing daily operations across multiple sites, implementing best practices in care delivery, enhancing provider satisfaction and driving improvements in patient access and clinical quality across the organization.

Elwell collaborates closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, administrative staff and executive leadership to ensure our provider network is aligned with system-wide goals.

While at GVMH, Elwell has been instrumental in enhancing GVMH’s ambulance services, increasing efficiency, responsiveness and overall patient outcomes. Additionally, he played a key role in the opening of the new Therapy Services facilities in Clinton and Warsaw, expanding access to high-quality rehabilitation services for the community while leading a highly skilled team of physical, occupational, and speech therapists for the past five years.

Elwell earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Truman State University and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Southwest Baptist University.

Beyond his role at GVMH, Elwell is actively engaged in community leadership. He serves as the Mayor of Leeton, MO, and volunteers as a board member for the Johnson County Economic Development Corporation, the Whiteman Area Leadership Council and as a counselor for The American Legion Boys State of Missouri, Inc.
