Jessica Henderson, Chief Human Resources Officer at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH), has more than 15 years of human resources experience in the healthcare industry.
In her role, she provides direction for the Human Resources department, including development and administration of employee benefit programs, wage/pay practices, human resource policies, as well as recruitment and onboarding of new staff. Henderson also leads the Leadership Development Institute (LDI) planning team which plans and organizes quarterly leadership training meetings and co-chairs the Staff Advisory Committee. In addition, she oversees the Auxiliary and departments for Education and Security Services.
Prior to joining GVMH, Henderson worked at Fitzgibbon Hospital for 10 years as the Human Resources Director, Human Resources Manager and Recruiter. She also worked as the Recruiting Manager at Pathways Behavioral Healthcare (Compass Health Network). She received a dual Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Development and Management Leadership from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Missouri. Henderson also serves on the Missouri Society of Healthcare Human Resource Association (MSHHRA) Board and has her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification through the Six Sigma Global Institute (SSGI).
