Keith Robison, Chief Information Officer at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH), has more than 35 years of experience in healthcare information systems. He has a proven track record of organizational leadership, strategic planning, vendor relations, project management and a history of building highly motivated, competent and customer service-oriented staff. In his role, he oversees the operation of the Information Technology (IT) department and directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems to improve cost effectiveness, service quality and business development. He also works with department leaders to strategically define, build and deliver effective solutions that enhance patient care through the use of technology.
Prior to joining GVMH, Robison served as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Samaritan Medical Center and as the Chief Information Officer at UPMC Chautauqua WCA (WCA Hospital). He also served as Samaritan Medical Center and WCA Hospital’s HIPAA Security Officer.
Robison received a Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Music Education, Associate of Applied Business with an emphasis in Computer Programming and attended the Healthcare CIO Boot Camp at the College of Health Information Management Executives (CHIME). He is also a member of Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and CHIME.
