Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Marketing Team Wins Three Awards

Clinton, Mo. – (Aug. 24, 2020) – The Marketing team at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare received statewide recognition for three projects that were developed this year to help educate and inform the communities it serves of its providers and services.

The Show-Me Excellence Awards, presented annually by the Missouri Association for Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing (MAHPRM), recognize high achievement and superb quality in advertising, marketing and public relations projects produced by hospitals and healthcare systems throughout the state.

For the competition, a panel of public relations and marketing professionals judged 139 entries submitted this year. The winning entries for GVMH included the campaign for the acquisition of Saint Luke’s Primary Care in Clinton, Dr. Dailey moving his family practice to the Osceola Clinic and the Rehabilitation and Wellness proposal. Due to COVID-19, the in-person awards presentation did not take place. However, a video presentation of the winners was distributed and awards were mailed.

“We are honored that the work we are doing was selected to receive this statewide recognition,” said Lea Studer, Director of Marketing and Communications. “I am extremely proud of our team and all of their strategic and creative marketing efforts.”

The awards competition was established by MAHPRM in 1981 and is the only Missouri competition dedicated to hospital and healthcare public relations and communications efforts. With 22 categories, the competition included projects in advertising, marketing, media relations, photography, publications, public relations and writing.
