I love learning and am thrilled to be constantly finding new research that affects patient care. Sometimes I am a healer, actively giving patients comfort and relief. Sometimes, I see myself as a detective, gathering clues and coming up with solutions for medical problems. Being blessed with a grandmother, mother and brother who are nurses, I learned the importance of carefully listening to patients and learning about them. I believe there is no such thing as an unimportant person; all of my patients are treated with respect and compassion.
