Food and Nutrition Services Team Members Achieve Servsafe® Food Protection Manager Certification

Clinton, MO. – (June 22, 2023) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is pleased to announce that Chef Shelby Wade and supervisors Melissa Hess and Jason McNalley have achieved the Servsafe® Food Protection Manager Certification.

ServSafe® is recognized in all 50 states and is the industry standard for food safety training and certification in restaurant, hotel and institutional food services. It is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANAB) Conference for Food Protection (CFP) and covers critical areas such as personal hygiene, cross-contamination, time and temperature controls, infection control and sanitation.

Re-examination of the credential is required every five years to ensure managers maintain knowledge of the latest science, research and findings used by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Codes.
