Dr. Jennifer Blair is a board-certified family physician, Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and founding Program Director of the GVMH Family Medicine Residency Program.
A lifelong Missourian, Dr. Blair has dedicated her career to serving rural communities and advancing access to high-quality healthcare. She completed her residency through the University of Missouri-Kansas City Family Medicine Rural Program and was recognized as the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Resident Teacher of the Year.
At GVMH, Dr. Blair has served in numerous leadership roles, including Chief of Staff, Chief of Obstetrics and Medical Staff Quality Officer. She is passionate about mentoring future physicians and preparing graduates to practice confidently in rural and community settings.

Jason Foster, MD
Faculty Physician | Family Medicine Physician
Jason Foster, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with a passion for comprehensive, relationship-based care and physician education. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine Residency at the University of Kansas.
Throughout his career, he has cared for patients across the full spectrum of family medicine, including outpatient, inpatient, preventive and behavioral healthcare.
Prior to joining GVMH, Dr. Foster served as an attending physician and assistant professor with the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, where he taught and mentored medical students and resident physicians. His experience in both clinical practice and medical education helps prepare residents to become confident, compassionate and capable family physicians.
Dr. Foster is committed to developing the next generation of physicians through hands-on teaching, mentorship and a patient-centered approach to care. He looks forward to helping residents build the clinical skills, professional judgment and leadership abilities needed for successful practice in rural and community healthcare settings.
