Residents maintain a continuity patient panel throughout residency, developing long-term relationships with patients while assuming increasing responsibility under faculty supervision.
Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is a comprehensive regional health system with more than 70 providers, four outpatient clinics and one hospital campus.
Residents gain experience in inpatient, outpatient, emergency, obstetric and procedural settings within a collaborative care model.
Training within a rural health system provides exposure to a broad range of patients, diagnoses and procedures that many residents do not encounter until later in practice.
